Dan's theatre credits include As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing and Hay Fever for Sir Peter Hall, The Vortex and two Tom Stoppard plays - Every Good Boy Deserves Favour and Arcadia. In 2012, Dan made his Broadway debut in The Heiress.
In 2011 and 2012 Dan contributed semi-regular articles and reviews for the The Telegraph and The Times, whilst also becoming editor at large for The Junket magazine when that was launched. After appearances on television as a host on BBC's Have I Got News For You and as a critic on BBC's Review Show programme, Dan was a judge for the 2012 Man Booker Prize.
Recent film credits include Vamps, Summer in February, The Fifth Estate, A Walk Among the Tombstones, The Guest and Night At The Museum 3. The Cobbler and Criminal Activities were released in 2015 and 2016, respectively. The Ticket, Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer, Beauty and the Beast, Colossal and The Man Who Invented Christmas are all awaiting release in 2017.
TV series Legion started filming in March 2016, and premiered worldwide on FX channels February 2017.
